“ The Cruz menu is outstanding. Excellent food and service by Milicia and her team .. friendly valet, checkin was easy by Dandi. ”
“ We went here our first day in fort Myer beach. Actually I think it's located in lovers key which is down the road. It was quite busy when we arrived like 2:30pm. On arrival they have complementary valet FYI which was fine. We went to hostess desk no tables for 45 minutes I must have had a sad look, I was extremely hungry, they said the did have one high top in back. We said sure! So off we went. We each had their fish and chips, which were good, my husband had an old fashion me water. We had a nice lunch, good service, thank you for getting us in. We were really hungry. ”
“ Atmosphere, food, and service is wonderful. We also love the call ahead and ability to see your place in line. ”
“ Today was a rainy day and we got in right away at 4. The clear curtains were pulled down and we heard quite a downpour but we stayed comfortable. Attentive and professional service. The group shared a Campenchana. All raved. Loved the Clamato base and fresh avocado, shrimp and crab. A short wine list, but choices. I ordered the sea scallops. I haven't had them in a really long time so I can't really tell you reliably much but they were very large and served with scallop potatoes and roasted lemon rings. There were too many for me to eat in one setting. My partner ordered the Seabass with seasoned rice. Described as meaty and tender, and a large portion enough for two meals. ”
“ We had dinner here for Valentine's Day and it was a wonderful experience! The chef is amazing and has curated a great menu. The restaurant is on the upper deck over the water with a beautiful view of the water. Everything on the menu looked amazing - I had the surf & turf special which was prepared perfectly, my husband had the red snapper, and we shared the ceviche appetizer. Everything was flavored and prepared perfectly - this place is a hidden gem in Fort Myers beach! ”
“ Had dinner there last night, first time. The restaurant is covered, al fresco dining with gorgeous views of the bay on three sides. They do not take reservations, but take call ahead seating. Parking by the restaurant is valet. There is no charge, but of course we tipped. Thought was given to comfortable waiting areas, with patio heaters for chilly evenings, and a small open bar on the lower deck, bayside. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. All in all, a lovely little restaurant. ”
“ We visited Flippers on the Bay twice during our stay in Fort Myers and had a wonderful experience both times! From the friendly complimentary valet service to the cheerful servers, everyone was so nice! My margaritas were delicious and so were the meals and desserts. The quesadillas were flavorful and my husband especially loved his lobster eggs Benedict. Finally, the view was just lovely! ”
“ Florida seafood at its finest! You can taste Chef Cruz's amazing training and care in every bite. Not only that, but he is the sweetest owner who is very present in the restaurant and stopped to chat and take a picture with us! Food notes: Manhattan-delish. Well balanced. Skinny margarita-perfect balance of citrus and freshness. Very flavorful and not overly sweet Campenchana-think shrimp cocktail, ceviche and a salsa. However you define it, it's delicious. Order your first time here without any questions! Ahi tuna-Chef's take on a deconstructed sushi roll. I said no crispy rice and top I could truly enjoy all the flavors. Tuna cooked to perfection. Rice was fluffy Paella-received rave reviews. Per our server, it has chef's name in the title for a reason ”
“ We have eaten at Flippers many times. When we have guests from out of town, we always take them there for dinner. This was the third time our friends from Connecticut had visited and they immediately wanted to go back to Flippers where we had shared memorable dinners. Once again we were treated to the best cuisine on Ft. Myers Beach. Chef Juan is the best chef, and also very caring and personable. Our server, Allegra was wonderful too. The food was prepared with perfection. The lobster Mac and Cheese is a delicious comfort food. The planked salmon was perfect, and we love the Asian Chicken Salad. We think the Key Lime pie is the best in Florida. What could be better than sitting in the breeze on the bay watching dolphins and sipping martinis? ”
